A ClutterBunny “All time Favorite”
My mini-van is a roving office. I need constant access to my laptop, cellphone, chargers, GPS, an array of keys, my ipod, ipod plug in, DVD’s for the kids, digital cameras, snacks for the kids, notes, pens, small gadget generator and garage door opener. Needless to say after trying car organizer after car organizer I was always disappointed. I needed something that could hold all those items, but had enough small pockets for little things, designated change areas, padded pockets for small gadgets. I also needed to have a designated area for pens as well as my laptop. Finally whatever organizer I used I needed to be able to pick it up and take it into a home or office within seconds and while holding my little ones. Truly, I did not think I would ever find anything that existed like this.
The solution: Stop looking at the expensive car/van/truck organizers, and start looking for something stylish and budget savvy. The amazing product is called “Mackinac Moon Open Top Craft Tote”. It comes in stylish patterns, has side pockets with velco and zippers and is large enough to hold my laptop. The pockets are gentle enough to house a GPS and iPod, two velcro-attached pockets allow me to carry keys and change with out losing items or scratching gadgets and the strong and sturdy handles allow me to carry everything in all at once. It looks as lovely on my desk top as it does in my van between the seats. Usually this is found as a craft organizer, but it is amazingly perfect for the vehicle storage, and much less expensive.

Clutter Bunny’s kitchen is embellished with a lovely fruit bowl so the kids will raid it and eat more healthy, and then I can pretend I don’t have a stash of chocolate hiding in the cupboard labeled “I am bad for you.” For the longest time this fruit was very bruised. Not because I buy the “DISCOUNT FRUIT”, it is because I under estimated my vehicles ability to keep groceries safely stored on the way home from the store. I had to find a way to organize the trunk, and keep apples from rolling all around under our feet. I have also had the experience of spilled Clamato Juice in a small trunk. I only wish that on my worst enemies.
There are lots of trunk organizers out there, but they leave a problem. The trunk is for storing other things too. Wagons, strollers, dog kennels, giant stuffed animals, science projects…you get the idea. With these storage methods I have to chose what goes in my trunk, and there are no emergency or last minute stops to the store.
The solution: Those little cloth boxes they sell to put in the square closet/room organizers. They are soft and fold flat. So I can slide them under the seats or push them aside the stroller. At the grocery store I can pop them open with one hand while holding a baby and they hold several grocery bags each. At home the boxes are carried into the house, and there are no more broken grocery bags. Ad a liner (fancy word for old grocery bag) and it make a great garbage bag for the car. If you slam on the breaks it is soft and won’t hit little “Billy Bunny” in the head giving him a bump.

The shipping rates on these are great, since they fold flat they aren’t to expensive to receive by mail. They come in a huge variety of colors and are less expensive than the large trunk organizers.
So now my fruit is only bruised because my little bunnies throw it prior to eating it. No bruises from rolling around on the way home.
